It is meant to be a durable topcoat for MASTERCOAT PERMANENT RUST SEALER as part of a THREE COAT system, which seals and prevents rust when used in conjunction with one another. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF AG111 IS USED WITHOUT OUR RUST SEALER AND RUST COMES THROUGH.
DESCRIPTION: When it comes to durability and chemical resistance, nothing compares to our UV stable and tough as nails The Master Series Coating Line’s AG111 Ultimate Topcoat. Originally developed for the subway systems, "AG" stands for "anti-graffiti". AG111™ will take 14,000 hours of salt spray as a topcoat for Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer and 90 days immersion in acetone without softening, so that's why AG111™ is the toughest chassis paint you can get and the best in quality hands down. It's chemical resistant, chip resistant, and acid resistant. It also stands up to road salt like no other. Used over our Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer as a topcoat, no corrosion or chemical can touch your car's chassis. Can be applied with a brush, roller, and can be sprayed. AG111™ is a two part system and the price includes hardener. IMPORTANT NOTE: Each set is a PREMEASURED QUART QUANTITY. Two containers in the set: EACH ARE 2/3 FILLED. They are filled this way because they are meant to be combined to equal one quart.
AG111 XL now available to purchase on its own! Contains a full quart of Part A and a full pint of Part B hardener. Equal to 1.5 quarts of AG111. Covers approximately 180 square feet. This amount is typically sufficient for one coat on a pickup truck frame. Larger trucks and/or additional coats will require additional purchase of material.
SPRAYING & REDUCTION: You will also need to use a reducer if spraying AG111. Reduction is 5-10%. Start with the smallest amount possible and use only enough thinner to move AG111 through your paint gun. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVER-THIN. If MCT101 thinner is unavailable, you may also use medium urethane reducer with this product. If you experience brush marks, you may also add a few drops to help it flow out evenly. A 2.0 tip is recommended.
⛔️ DO NOT TOPCOAT AG111 WITH ANOTHER PAINT: AG111 is already a topcoat and is not meant to be topcoated with any other paint. Use two coats of Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer, 1-2 coats of AG111, OR your own topcoat. ALSO NOT MEANT TO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER BED LINER PRODUCTS. AG111 is durable enough to be used on its own as a bed liner. No need to combine it with other bed liners.
AVAILABLE COLORS & FINISHES: Gloss black, satin black, gloss clear, gloss white, gloss light gray, gloss medium gray, gloss dark gray, gloss safety red. All colors & clear aside from gloss black and satin black are considered "special order" and are not returnable or refundable. Sorry, AG111 is not available in custom colors.
SHELF LIFE: 2 years approximate. Once paint is mixed with hardener, the pot life is 6 hours.
COVERAGE: 120 square feet approximate in one coat per quart. 1-2 coats is recommended.* One coat is usually sufficient. *Extra purchase may be required for more than one coat.
NOTE ABOUT GLOSS CLEAR: When coating AG111 Clear over another paint, always spot test to make sure it is compatible with your paint. Compatibility with other paints is not guaranteed by us. Final result not guaranteed by us when used in conjunction with a different brand of paint.
🚨 PLEASE NOTE, MASTERCOAT IS A RUST PREVENTATIVE SYSTEM. This product is only one part of the system. Prepare the surface by sandblasting, or with wire wheels and grinders. If the surface has paint on it, remove as much as possible and scuff up any tightly adhering paint. Clean contaminants on the surface with mineral spirits. Use Metal Prep or another phosphoric acid based metal prep (optional) on surfaces which have NOT been painted, apply two coats of Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer Original or Slim, and 1-2 coats of Mastercoat AG111, Mastercoat Black Chassis Finish, or your own topcoat. Not adhering to this system may not achieve the desired results. The key to AG111 working as expected is to understand that the hardener component is is moisture cured. Ideal relative humidity for working with this material is 50%. Do not apply thick coats.

WEAR GLOVES AND FACE COVERING WHEN USING MASTERCOAT PRODUCTS. A charcoal respirator is recommended when brushing and an air supplied mask is recommended when spraying rust sealers and topcoats. Proper ventilation is required for all products.
DO NOT LET RUST SEALER AND TOPCOAT PRODUCTS DRY IN YOUR PAINT GUN. Always clean immediately with urethane reducer (MCT101) or lacquer thinner. (DO NOT use lacquer thinner as a reducer for any of our products).
DO NOT PUT RUST SEALERS AND TOPCOATS ON A SHAKER TO MIX. Contents build pressure.

COVERAGE ESTIMATES: Coverage estimates for application per vehicle may vary for different vehicles and different applications. Square footage coverage per container are approximate. It is the responsibility of the customer to know how many square feet of area to be coated, to account for factors which may require additional product, and to calculate amount needed for amount of coats required. Estimates given by us do not take into account thickness of coats applied, reduction, coverage gaps resulting from parts A&B not being combined throughly, product waste, or other situations that are on the part of the user and beyond our control. If Mastercoat LLC’s estimate, whether stated on our website, labels, literature, or in communication by phone or email falls short, no compensation will be given. If this estimate results in extra product that is not needed, we accept returns on returnable items according to our return policies and do not refund or pay shipping. Product estimates given by Mastercoat LLC are to the best of our ability, and responsibility for correct amount of product purchased lies solely with the customer.
