Our latest development in the Master Series Coating Line is a durable floor pan coating that is also a permanent rust sealer and offers sound deadening and insulation qualities. By adding ceramic to this coating, we have managed to solve more than one problem: it regulates the temperature of floor pans in older cars that generate a lot of heat from the exhaust and to keep you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer while deadening sound. This type of coating reflects heat back to its source. If your exhaust system is close to your floor, this would be the ideal place to use it. It is recommended to coat both sides of your pans and firewall. Usually it is sufficient to add the sound deadener additive to just the rust sealer, but you can also add it to the AG111 topcoat for extra protection.
ℹ️ IMPORTANT NOTES: it is recommended to use sound deadener additive in AG111 SATIN black instead of gloss black, as sound deadener will dull gloss finishes. If you want a gloss finish, use sound deadener additive in rust sealer ONLY and topcoat with AG111 gloss black on its own with no sound deadener mixed in. This should be sufficient as it is not necessary to have the sound deadener in both the rust sealer and topcoat. It is also recommended to use sound deadener additive in SLIM instead of ORIGINAL, as the sound deadener additive thickens the rust sealer.
BASIC SET CONTAINS: One quart of Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer SLIM formula (Part A)) and 4oz packet of sound deadening thermal insulator additive (Part B). Covers 100sq ft approx, but two coats are required. Please be advised that YES, the A part is the Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer SLIM formula with a different label because the instructions differ when part of this set. The color of the included rust sealer is silver and is meant to be top coated with AG111, Chassis Black, or any topcoat of your choosing. If not top coating, use three coats of rust sealer.

🚨 PLEASE NOTE, MASTERCOAT IS A RUST PREVENTATIVE SYSTEM. Prepare the surface by sandblasting, or with wire wheels and grinders. If the surface has paint on it, remove as much as possible and scuff up any tightly adhering paint. Clean contaminants on the surface with mineral spirits. Use Metal Prep or another phosphoric acid based metal prep (optional) on surfaces which have NOT been painted, apply two coats of Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer Original or Slim, and 1-2 coats of Mastercoat AG111, Mastercoat Black Chassis Finish, or your own topcoat. Not adhering to this system may not achieve the desired results.

Shelf life: one year on unopened cans. Opening the containers drastically reduces shelf life.

WEAR GLOVES AND FACE COVERING WHEN USING MASTERCOAT PRODUCTS. A charcoal respirator is recommended when brushing and an air supplied mask is recommended when spraying rust sealers and topcoats. Proper ventilation is required for all products.
DO NOT LET RUST SEALER AND TOPCOAT PRODUCTS DRY IN YOUR PAINT GUN. Always clean immediately with urethane reducer (MCT101) or lacquer thinner. (DO NOT use lacquer thinner as a reducer for any of our products).
DO NOT PUT RUST SEALERS AND TOPCOATS ON A SHAKER TO MIX. Contents build pressure.
