Mastercoat® Permanent Rust Sealer Sound Deadener & Thermal Insulator Floor Pan Coating & Bed Liner - Paint Sets & Additive

NEW! Our latest development in the Master Series Coating Line is a durable floor pan coating that is also a permanent rust sealer and offers sound deadening and insulation qualities. By adding ceramic to this coating, we have managed to solve more than one problem: it regulates the temperature of floor pans in older cars that generate a lot of heat from the exhaust and to keep you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer while deadening sound. This type of coating reflects heat back to its source. If your exhaust system is close to your floor, this would be the ideal place to use it. It is recommended to coat both sides of your pans and firewall. Usually it is sufficient to add the sound deadener additive to just the rust sealer, but you can also add it to the AG111 topcoat for extra protection. IMPORTANT NOTES: it is recommended to use sound deadener additive in AG111 SATIN black instead of gloss black, as sound deadener will dull gloss finishes. If you want a gloss finish, use sound deadener additive in rust sealer ONLY and topcoat with AG111 gloss black on its own with no sound deadener mixed in. This should be sufficient as it is not necessary to have the sound deadener in both the rust sealer and topcoat. It is also recommended to use sound deadener additive in SLIM instead of ORIGINAL, as the sound deadener additive thickens the rust sealer. BASIC SET CONTAINS: One quart of Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer SLIM formula (Part A)) and 4oz packet of sound deadening thermal insulator additive (Part B). Covers 100sq ft approx, but two coats are required. The color of the included rust sealer is silver and is meant to be top coated with AG111, Chassis Black, or any topcoat of your choosing. If not top coating, use three coats of rust sealer.
