By adding ceramic to this coating, we have managed to solve more than one problem: it regulates the temperature of floor pans in older cars that generate a lot of heat from the exhaust and to keep you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer while deadening sound. This type of coating reflects heat back to its source. If your exhaust system is close to your floor, this would be the ideal place to use it. It is recommended to coat both sides of your pans and firewall. BASIC SET CONTAINS: One quart of Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer SLIM formula (Part A) and 4oz packet of sound deadening thermal insulator additive (Part B). BEST VALUE SET CONTAINS: Four quarts of Mastercoat Permanent Rust Sealer SLIM formula (Part A) and one 16oz packet of sound deadening thermal insulator additive (Part B). COLOR: Silver.
